The Most Popular Taiwanese Breakfast in Taipei, Fu Hang Dou Jiang 阜杭豆漿

Fu Hang Dou Jiang serves up Taiwanese breakfast favorites in a food court in the Shandao Temple area.

The specialty is the He Ping – which is a flat bread that is a thicker than the typical Sow Ping.(correct me if I might be mistaken). This flat bread is usually wrapped around a fried egg, which constitutes a nice morning meal. I had one as well as a Fan Twan – a rice breakfast burrito with an egg. Gosh, it was well too much of a breakfast, now. But the Fan Twan is my favorite breakfast item.

Anyways, Fu Hang Dou Jiang is well worth the trip, to first, actually find the place and to stand in line as well. To find Fu Hang Dou jiang, take the MTR to the Shandao Temple stop. Off the MTR exit, you can find them above a market on the 2nd floor. Look for the long lines – at all times of the day.
