Maybe not typically stereotypically Korean like bbq. But steamed dumplings and dumpling noodle soup (mandoo guk) is a quite common staple in Korea. I'm Chinese American, but spend a lot of time in Korea and I know that so much great Korean food is not well known outside of Korea (like the Dak Kalbi you wrote about in your last entry).
